Biscuits Baci Di Dama - The Convicts of Voci Errant
The biscuits were born as a work opportunity for the inmates of the Saluzzo prison. They are prepared with the desire for redemption and to learn a trade for future social reintegration. The biscuits are the result of the work of Antonio, Carmine, Enzo, Toni and Vincenzo who, with Lorenza, recover traditional recipes and enhance the local raw materials.
Baci di dama are prepared with hazelnut flour from Alba, a delight not to be missed.
“I never thought I'd end up in prison, much less kiss biscuits” - Tony.

The Cooperative: The Galeotti Di Voci Erranti run a biscuit factory inside the Saluzzo prison, to offer training and work opportunities to inmates. The prisoners involved in the Project have the opportunity to learn a trade, prepare for future social reintegration and promote an economy that is attentive to people and relationships. Prison biscuits are bridges between prison reality and external society, the results of a path in which, through work, the person can recover their dignity. Prepared with local ingredients from the Saluzzo area, they have the flavor of homemade biscuits and the fragrance of freedom.
