Gewurztraminer Riserva Rutter Sudtirol Alto Adige DOC - Pfitscher
Pfitscher's Gewürztraminer Rutter comes from the Griesfeld vineyard, a plot located at around three hundred meters above sea level not far from Egna, still south of Bolzano. Vinified and left to mature for a few months in steel at a controlled temperature, it is a wine that expresses everything good that can be produced in this area of Alto Adige. It is in fact a Gewürztraminer with great elegance and momentum, among the best Italian interpretations of this grape variety so widespread throughout the world.

Tasting Notes: Golden yellow, the nose is a kaleidoscope of aromas. They are fruity, citrus and exotic notes, embellished with a clear floral and, finally, mineral hint. In the mouth it is harmonious, very long, of great substance and balance. A beautiful fresher note outlines its forms up to a highly persistent finish.
Pairings: Throughout the meal, Pfitscher's Gewürztraminer Rutter is an ideal white wine to accompany large medium-aged cheeses, perhaps served as an appetizer.
The Cellar: Winemakers by passion: this is how we could summarize the spirit that animates the Pfitschers, a South Tyrolean family that deals with viticulture with tireless commitment and total dedication. We are in Montagna, just south of Bolzano, in Alto Adige. The Pfitscher family cellar is, in fact, certified "CasaClima Wine", a seal that evaluates the environmental compatibility of the building, the living comfort, the consumption of energy and water in the production of wines, from the choice of packaging to the impact of their transportation. Currently, there are approximately seven hectares of vineyards managed by the winery, which can boast some of the best plots in the entire southern area of Alto Agide. Between the rows, the management of the plants is conventional, but the main objective is never lost sight of: reducing any artificial intervention to a minimum, in order to harvest pure, concentrated and natural grapes.
