Mezcal Durango - Clase Azul
The name Clase Azul translates to "blue like agave", from which this tequila is made.
Clase Azul - a bottle of true art. All of the distillery's bottles are hand-shaped and individually painted - no two are alike. Clase Azul Mezcal Durango is made with Cenizo agave, a variety of agave that grows wild in the northern Mexican state of Durango.

The Distillery: Mezcal Clase Azul is a super premium mezcal, made using 100% Cenizo Agave, which grows wild in the state of Durango. The region, known for its extreme climate, mineral-rich soil and local natural springs, contributes to the powerful and complex profile that differentiates this mezcal from those produced in the rest of Mexico. The underground cooking process produces sweet notes of peanuts, sugar of cane, honey, ash, wood and chocolate. The fermentation process with stacks of stone and red oak contributes, however, to the notes of ripe fruit. The uniqueness of this mezcal is also found in its fantastic bottle: a matte black decanter, inspired by clay ceramic and hand-sculpted by artisans Mexican, and a colorful beaded hood handmade by artisans belonging to the Huichol culture.
